MARCIA CLARK: Residencies: she went to Greenland in June to work on paintings of the Arctic landscape, with hospitality from the Ilulissat Kunstmuseum and the Children’s Home in Uummannaq;  Solo Exhibition, Reviews & Publications: Her exhibition at the Ilulissat Kunstmuseum, last summer was the subject of an article by Mads Nordland appearing in the October issue of Greenland Today. The catalogue for the exhibition with essay by Martica Sawin can be found on Amazon.com;   Group Shows: Clark was included in Big and Bold: Contemporary Painting and Sculpture from the Albany Institute’s Collection, October 12 2013 – April 20, 2014, and gave a talk at the Institute on February 27 on the subject of her painting done from the 104th floor of the World Trade Center, 1984; she was also in Small and Seductive, an exhibition that followed, May 3 – September 28, 2014. Public Collections: The Albany Institute recently acquired Clark’s Bridge Sojourn, 1990, a 10 panel panorama from the Mid-Hudson Bridge. ANNE DIGGORY:  Solo ShowsTreeACTION at the Spring Street Gallery in Saratoga Springs, NY, Sept-Nov 2013; Hybrid Visions at the Hyde Collection in Glens Falls, NY, Sept 28, 2014 – Jan. 4th, 2015,( hybridvisions.diggory.com ) with an upcoming gallery talk at the museum Oct. 19th, 2014.  Group Show:  In August, 2014, her work was included in Art at the Lake at the Top of the World resort, Lake George, NY;  Residency: For the fourth year in a row, in August 2014 Diggory was artist-in-residence at the Adirondack Museum in Blue Mountain Lake, NY;  Publication: In January 2014 the Metropolitan Museum Journal published her article “John Frederick Kensett’s Point of View in Lake George, 1869: A Correction,” about the relationship of motif to his final painting;  Commission: The Syracuse Upstate Cancer Center commissioned Diggory to create Saranac Reflections for their new building opening July 2014 with a theme of “healing through nature.”

PETER MALONE:  Group Shows:Peter Malone exhibited portraits at the Art Gallery of Kingsborough Community College, CUNY in April, 2014; participated in a group show at the Municipal Art Gallery in Kharkov, Ukraine in May; and was given a slot in the Annual show at the Butler Institute of American Art in Youngstown, OH in July 2014. Publications: He also wrote and an essay on the term “gallerist” and several exhibition reviews for Artcritical.com in the fall of 2013 and a few reviews for Hyperallergic.com in 2014. Curating: In March of 2014 he curated an exhibition of paintings by Alison Berry, also at the Kingsborough Art Gallery, which was his last curatorial effort before resigning as gallery director in June. Recently retired from the City University, he now plans to devote the greater part of his time to painting and writing.
