An event rare enough to generate excitement when it occurs, our Invitational will coincide with the astrological “Blue Moon” phenomenon this August. Expect to see drawings, prints, collage, paintings and photographs both abstract and representational by gallery artists and guests employing a variety of concepts, techniques and media.

The members of Blue Mountain Gallery see their outreach and commitment to an ever-expanding community of artists as fundamental to their overall mission. The gallery sponsors juried exhibitions and maintains a calendar of lectures and panels to complement a schedule of one-person shows. Blue Mountain Gallery is an artists' cooperative, founded in 1980. The gallery is located steps from the High Line and close to Whitney in the heart of Chelsea’s gallery art district at 547 West 27th Street.
