Blue Mountain Gallery is pleased to present the work of 36 artists selected by Glenn Goldberg for this year's winter juried exhibition. The artists, drawn from three hundred applicants from across the country, work in a wide range of media, including oil, acrylic, pastel, gouache, photography and mixed media. The exhibition is accompanied by a fully illustrated catalogue and will remain on view through January 25, 2025.

ABOUT THE JUROR - GLENN GOLDBERG 

 Glenn Goldberg is an artist who lives and works in NYC. Born in the Bronx, he studied at the New York Studio School and earned both his BA and MFA degrees from Queens College, CUNY. He has taught at The Cooper Union, The New York Studio School, and Queens College, where he is currently Chair of Graduate Studio Art in their MFA Program. He has also been a visiting artist for MFA painting programs at Yale, Columbia, Boston University, American University, Hunter College, and others. He has received grants from the Edward Albee Foundation, the Guggenheim Foundation, the Joan Mitchell Foundation, and the National Endowment for the Arts. His work has been reviewed in The New York Times, The LA Times, The New Yorker, Chicago Tribune and many others.   

 

 Goldberg’s work has been shown extensively throughout the U.S., including solo exhibits in NYC at Willard Gallery, Betty Cuningham Gallery, Jason McCoy Gallery and Knoedler and Co. He and Amber Scoon collaborated on a book titled “?” published by Atropos Press in 2018. His works are in both private and museum collections, including the Whitney Museum of American Art, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Guggenheim Museum, Brooklyn Museum, National Gallery of Art, High Museum, and Museum of Contemporary Art, LA. He has upcoming one person exhibitions in October 2024 at The Approach In London and Chris Sharp Gallery in LA in March 2025.
